I’ve been with children all of my adult life, and when you’re around kids, funny things happen. I decided to write these funny things down and the book “JOKES FROM THE SCHOOL BUS” was born.

Children love jokes and these jokes have been kid inspired and kid tested. There are Snowman Jokes, Animal Jokes, Shoe Jokes, State Jokes, Scary Jokes, and more.

A FEW SAMPLE JOKES: (1) What do you get when your chubby dairy cow has short legs? Low fat milk. (2) What insect is very self-confident? A cocky roach. (3) Why did the Tennessee coon hunters want to vacation in Mexico? Because they heard Mexico had canned-coon. (4) What would you say about a mummy who is a little crazy? He's not wrapped too tight. (5) Why did the frog go to the doctor? Because he was afraid he might croak. (6) What do you call a parent who helps with the school band? A Band-aide. (7) What do you call a snowman who is a little goofy? A Flake.

I’m Jerry Harwood, I am a retired teacher, and I’ve driven a school bus in Boone County Kentucky for over 39 years. I graduated from Ohio University with majors in government and elementary education. I then went on to earn his master’s degree in administration from Xavier University.
